Notice is hereby given that the 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club will be held on Saturday 25th February 2012 at 4pm.

All committee positions will be declared vacant at this meeting.

Hi everyone
I must regretfully inform you that there will be no criterium at Caloundra tomorrow night (10th January)... the wheels of bureaucracy aren't as well lubricated as your bikes.

With extra time to work with, next week is looking pretty good though.

Hi everyone, especially those not currently members of the Sunshine Coast Cycling Club. This message contains complete instructions on the process to be followed if you wish to renew your Cycling Australia membership and change clubs at the same time. Do not renew online as that will leave you with your current club and you will incur a $50 transfer fee.

There are 2 forms to be completed. A Membership Transfer Form and a 2012 Membership Application Form (triplicate).

There are a few changes for 2012 with procedures around club memberships. Everything is now done online directly with Cycling Australia via their new system. The main link to access the site for both new and renewing members is:

The committee is formulating the 2012 calendar and is seeking input to the type, location and frequency of events. A draft list of events is shown at the end of this message. All events and locations are subject to permit approvals where necessary from Main Roads, Police and Local Council.

This calendar has taken into account Open events listed on the Cycling Queensland draft calendar. Some events may be deleted or dates changed once Cycling Queensland publishes the final copy of their 2012 calendar.
